Snowshoeing is an easy way to get close to nature without too much hassle - and everyone can use them. XXLofoten take you out to explore the Lofoten Islands nature on snowshoes during winter. We do not have to go far to find easy terrain to explore. For us, it is all about creating the best possible introduction to our nature in the Arctic.

The snowshoes are excellent to use for beginners as you do not need any experience, and they are manageable on your first attempt.

Rates are given when minimum 7 guests. We can also cater an outdoor meal on request as a part of the trip.

Thermal suits and boots can be included upon request for groups.

We don’t have to go far to find complete silence and wilderness. We decide the best route after reviewing the day’s weather conditions. When terrain is icy rather than snowy we use crampons. You do not have to be fit, but interested in wildlife, nature and getting to know more about the Lofoten Islands.
