Tour description

Every winter, you can find this extraordinary lights in the Lofoten Islands. In fact, you can see it from September until April during night time.

To make the northern lights experience best possible, we take you by bus to carefully chosen sites. Our trips mainly take you to the northern parts of the island where there are better chances to see it and the light pollution is minimal. We share our knowledge about the fascinating northern lights and why it occurs on the winter sky.

This tour is carried out by buss and the price is based on a minimum of 20 people.

A guarantee to see the lights is impossible to give, but we always offer to postpone the trip to the next day if the chances are poor.

We also offer to make an alternative northern lights visit at Full Steam instead. This way we never cancel, but we add Full Steam to the program and serve the lecture and a taste of Lofoten combined with stories from the area in the private museum.

The weather in Lofoten can change rapidly, which is some of the charm of these isles. You should wear warm clothes like wool and fleece layers and a down jacket and thermal boots to stay warm. We will most likely stay outside to wait for the lights, meaning that clothing is essential.
