Join us on a scenic fjord cruise through the spectacular fjords and coastal landscapes of the Lofoten Islands. From May to September, we offer daily Sea Eagle Safaris aboard our partner vessel, the catamaran MS Øykongen.

Tour description

You will have the opportunity to experience the white-tailed eagle, Europe's largest bird of prey, in its natural habitat. With a bit of luck, you may also spot whales, harbour porpoises, or other marine wildlife.

We depart daily from the Main Square (Torget) in Svolvær at 5:30 PM. The cruise lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

From mid-August to mid-September, we also offer an additional departure at 4:00 PM on selected days. Please check the booking calendar for availability.

The cruise takes you through beautiful straits, islets, and skerries with crystal-clear waters, in an area that is home to one of the largest populations of white-tailed eagles in the region. Watch these magnificent birds soar above the sea in search of fish or perch high on the steep mountainsides along the coast.

Along the way, you'll experience the breathtaking scenery that has made the Lofoten Islands world-famous. We pass small islands and former fishing villages that tell the story of generations who lived in harmony with the sea and relied on its rich natural resources for their livelihood.

The vessel offers comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors, allowing you to enjoy the cruise in all weather conditions. On board, you'll find a kiosk serving snacks and beverages, including beer, wine, and other alcoholic drinks.
