Tour description

We welcome you to a 4-hour traditional fishing trip on the Lofoten Sea where you will both hear stories about Lofoten and try your hand at fishing itself. Our concept includes deep-sea fishing with cheat wheels together with our experienced crew.

In the summer we get fish species such as saithe, haddock, mackerel and coastal cod. MS Symra is what you associate with a traditional fishing boat, and the lady actually turned 100 in 2017. A comfortable boat that is designed for just fishing. It is protected by the National Heritage Board, and is certified for 38 passengers.

There are 10 fishing spots on board, and our guests must therefore expect to share their fishing spot with other fishermen on this trip. But no danger – you will probably be well satisfied before we set course back to port.

And the catch? We teach you to gut it on board, and of course you can also take it with you if you wish.

Rate 2024: 1195 NOK per person

This trip is suitable for those who have little or no fishing experience. We can not guarantee a catch, but we do our utmost to find good fishing spots. The boat trip itself is an experience if you are interested in nature, photography and history beyond fishing. No two trips are alike.

Dress according to the conditions, but remember that in the summer it can be cold in Lofoten. We have floating suits for loan included in the price that are disinfected between uses. Feel free to bring gloves and a hat in a bag in case of need. We have good boots for rent for NOK 50 per pair.

Shoes can be rented for 75 NOK
