A trip made for nature enthusiasts! You get the chance to meet sea eagles and experience some of the most scenic landscapes in Lofoten.
The tour starts from the quayside in Svolvær, and will take you through Raftsundet before we enter Trollfjorden. This is some of the most dramatic scenery that Norway has to offer and in an open boat you will get close to the elements. There is a large population of sea eagles in Raftsundet, and one of the highlights is without a doubt when a sea eagle circles a few meters above your head.
This is the eagle with the largest wingspan in the world, up to 2.65 meters. Our guides have expert training and will make sure that you have a comfortable experience.
This tour is a good option for families with kids over eight years of age. The duration of this trip is about two hours and we have daily departures through the year. We do not recommend this trip for people with back problems or pregnancy. All participants must meet at our activity center 30 minutes before departure. Private tours are available on request all year.
In an open boat like this, you get close to the elements. Our drivers have a high focus on safety and ensure a comfortable ride. A trip with us is therefore well suited for families with children with children over 8 years. In its entirety, the trip takes 2 hours, and we have daily departures almost all year round. In the summer we have departures several times a day. If you are pregnant or have back problems, you are recommended other Lofoten experiences.
Clothing
Dress in warm clothes in several layers with insulating layers in winter. Bring your own mittens, gloves, shoes according to the conditions and a buff / scarf no matter the weather when you go out in an open boat. We recommend tight shoes with thick soles. Shoes can also be rented for 75 kroner.
